As a reminder, devblogs will be available only for Patreon patrons until the next game update. After which, every devblog posted prior to this update release date will be publicly posted, one by one, on the game’s website.

It seems that phone web browsers cannot properly read GIFs in some cases.

I do not have a lot to say about this month. I worked on several things at once, which I did not add to the Dev Blog as they were fairly small and not worth mentioning. It also shall be the final Dev Blog before the game's release. ;3

VR Spectator

When playing in VR, the desktop window will show a preview of what the VR player sees.

To optimize performances and to allow privacy when other people are around, it is possible to disable the preview window, or even to change its resolution and framerate.

When disabling the preview screen, it is still possible to see what is displayed in the VR headset through softwares such as Steam VR or Oculus.

Game master

I updated the game master’s tools with new icons and a better structure.

Localisation

I looked over every file to export every label and written description in game into a database.

I hate a translation team that will both correct mistakes and translate the game’s text in their respective languages. Localization also shall take into account measuring units such as sizes and weights.

Animation

I added new animations and sharpened existing ones.

Debug and optimisation

I spent a lot of time during this month debugging and optimizing the game’s code. I also sent beta tests to some people in order to help me find and patch bugs, but also to listen to their reviews regarding the current state of the game.

Sound and music

Cavus (Benoit), on his end, focused on recording new sounds to contribute to the game’s audio ambiance.

He also started working on the customization musical theme. The new main theme is already included to the game.
